More than just a care home, we offer our residents a caring and supportive atmosphere in which they can still enjoy their own sense of independence. At Lorna House we specialise in providing flexible and personalised care, in a comfortable ‘home from home’ environment with a real family atmosphere.

Our range of care services includes long-term care, and both planned and emergency respite care, as well as evening care, a lunch club, and day care with transport. With capacity for 24 residents, Lorna House is large enough to provide a stimulating social mix, but avoid the institutional character of larger homes.

Accommodation at Lorna House is mostly en suite, and we pride ourselves on our traditional and tasty menus. Located in the historic Babbacombe area of Torquay within a thriving local community, there are plenty of shops, pubs and churches in easy walking distance. With beautiful Cary Park also on our doorstep, our residents can be as socially active as they wish, or have their privacy and solitude respected.
